Community Guidelines

Pet Social exists to reunite animals with their families. Assume good intent, offer support to worried owners, and treat every post as if it were about your own pet.

Only post pets you own or animals you have genuinely seen. Include clear photos, an approximate location, and honest descriptions. Do not repost other people's pets as your own.

Do not share home addresses, phone numbers, or personal details in public posts, comments, or captions. Keep first contact inside Pet Social messages. Share collection details privately once you have verified the owner.

No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination. Do not pressure people for personal information, money, or in-person meetings before trust is established.

Do not use Pet Social for sales, breeding solicitations, fundraising outside of a genuine reunion, or misleading found reports. Reward or gift claims must be honoured.

If you see cruelty, threats, impersonation, or attempts to lure someone into an unsafe meeting, report it in the app or email us. Serious welfare concerns should also be reported to your local animal welfare authority.

Enforcement

Content or accounts that break these guidelines may be removed, restricted, or permanently banned at our discretion. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
